We are safely in our hotel in Charlottesville! We took one or two wrong turns here and there along the way, but managed to get here unscathed. I'm still under the weather but not as much as yesterday....no fever today. It took us about 7 hours to get here, but we managed to have fun along the way. Tomorrow we are off to see Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's home. We will also check out more of Historic Downtown Charlottesville, most of which was closed by the time we got there this evening.
Above is a bit of an idea of what the car ride has entailed (someone seems to like the road signs....ahem...Jen....ahem).
